| About the calendar:
The calendar is made from an open source web based calendar project called phpiCalendar that integrated into the site. phpiCalendar works by parsing industry standard .ics files. To this we have added our own Event manager and .ics generator. It's one of the best looking calendar parsers I've seen. (Outside of Apple's own web version of iCal). |
| | Visitors to the site can either subscribe to a calendar using ics aware applications such as Apples iCal, Mozilla Calendar, Microsoft's Outlook and Entourage or they can download a copy of a calendar for offline reference. Visitors who subscribe to a calendar on the site will receive any updates made to the calendar on the site when they refresh their subscription. Some of these applications will even update the subscription on a regular schedule. Allowing them to stay current with any updates in a timely manner. | |
